Tobacco Litigation

PHAI has long been involved in legal efforts addressing the marketing, sale, and regulation of tobacco and nicotine products. We are involved in ongoing litigation addressing the marketing and public health impacts of tobacco and nicotine products. This includes legal action aimed at reducing industry harm and strengthening consumer protections.

Gambling Litigation

As legalized gambling continues to expand across the United States, PHAI is pursuing legal strategies to address the deceptive marketing of the gambling industry. We currently are in litigation with DraftKings over the alleged unfair and deceptive marketing of gambling products that offer purported "cash bonuses" for opening an online sportsbook account.

Toddler Milk Litigation

- PHAI has highlighted concerns regarding the marketing and labeling practices of toddler milk products and their implications for public health and consumer understanding. Through our Center for Public Health Litigation, we also challenge deceptive marketing of sugary beverages and ultra-processed foods that contribute to chronic disease.
