Darian Harbeck is a public policy professional with six years of experience on Capitol Hill, where she most recently served as Senior Policy Advisor to Representative Paul D. Tonko (NY-20).

 

She led the Congressman’s public health portfolio and the development of his Betting on Our Future Act and the Supporting Affordability and Fairness with Every (SAFE) Bet Act, first-of-their-kind federal legislation to address gambling-related harm through a public health framework.

 

Drawing on experience at the city, state, and federal levels, Darian brings deep legislative expertise and a proven record of coalition-building to support PHAI’s work to protect public health.
